Steven turned 23 yesterday. he spent most of the day knocking down walls in his parents basement and doing what he loves most- building. its funny- on the last 2 big events in the last month- he has spent the day doing service for other people. on our anniversary he spent the day with me and my sibs moving my brother.... i love my hub. he is one great guy. anyway- later that night we had a pizza party at his parents house and he got some sweet stuff, tools mostly and shoes. the night before we had a big ol get together at my moms house and had a cafe rio style dinner. it was delicious. our families are so awesome. thanks for the wonderful love and support.

so i am taking a cake decorating class- and this is the first attempt. very plain, but oh well. happy birthday husband (we didnt eat this one- fondant is yucky)

this is the cake we actually got to eat-a delicious ice cream cake thanks to Rich and Joanne.
and ta da! the birthday boy himself seemingly happy as a clam

ReplyDeleteLove the cake! Nice job. Where are you taking cake decorating classes at? That is something I have wanted to do. I made a cake for my sisters baby shower (you can see it on my blog) and I had some bumps and kinks to work out. But it was fun to do :)
