Aunt Roma Ann

This woman is one of the most amazing and generous people I know. For those of you who know her- you can agree to that statement. Every year she welcomes hundreds of people (mostly family) into her home, whether it be for peach days, memorial day, really any holiday- or on any given weekend. She makes it a point to make sure that everyone feels right at home and is comfortable, and has enough to eat. She takes the meaning of "mi Casa es Su Casa" to a whole new meaning. Over the years of the beatings her home has taken from everyone feeling "at home" it finally came time to fix all the damage the east wing of her house has needed. After making phone calls and talking with many wonderful people who love this woman so much, we were able to raise the funds to remodel and upgrade the east wing of Aunt Romi Anns house, this was all without her knowledge of course until we showed up to her house with a truck full of supplies and started on the demolition.... I sure hope she knows how much she is loved. I cant think of a more deserving person than this.

So take a looksy at what we were able to accomplish in a few trips to hurricane, and a few very long days. the project took memorial day weekend, plus 2 or so days of good ol hard work.
We were able to raise enough money to replace all the doors AND jams and everything else....

they went from this

and this

and this

To this!

We want to give a special thanks to all who contributed. We could NOT have done this without all the amazing donations and generous people who all helped make this possible. And also to those who put in hours and HOURS of work into making this so beautiful. It is so wonderful to see what family can do- to become a Zion society. We love and appreciate you all more than you know.
