Weekend Extravaganza

so this post is pretty much self explanatory. But dont you fret i will fill you in with a few extra details.
We went to Vegas for the day. Friday morning we woke up at 4 ish and rushed off to the airport to get to our flight. Once we landed (of course i was famished as always) My aunts brother picked us up from the airport and took us to get breakfast at this lovely place.

and i ordered this delictable dish- its called the Dutch baby. dont know why its a baby. it was a monster!!!

after breakfast we went to the strip to check into our hotel.... but it was still too early so we just dropped off our bags and went a walkin' cuz thats what you do in vegas if you dont smoke, drink, gamble or have a soul.
we went to the Belaggio and they have a really cool theme this time of year - they are celebrating/honoring the chinese new year so there was a huge garden of gorgeous flowers and stuff... i want a garden like this in my house. er in my yard. either way

moving right along- we hit up the m&m store which was fun. we got this lovely picture with the Phantom (the whole reason the trip commenced) not the m&m but the phantom....

we ended up seeing quite a few famous people!!

um and midgets.

then we went to dinner before the show-we ate at the Treasure Island buffet. normally i hate buffets but this one was really good- they had crab legs

and delicious desserts. the thing i like about buffets are you can get whatever you want and try just a little without feeling guilty for not finishing it.

my finger is the old lady looking one on the left in case you were wondering

anyway- this is the reason we decided to come to vegas. we got 50 dollar roundtrip flights so we figured we should go. it was AMAZING knock your socks off incredible.i absolutely loved it.

after messin around on the airplane for a while we were home!!! i was SO SO SO Tired.

and i got to spend most of the day just doing hair. i did lots. but this one i think was the cutest... hahha well he was my cutest little model. i love this little boy and he was so good during the WHOLE thing which is usually a hard thing for little kidlins

  2. So glad you guys had fun here! I've been wanting to see Phantom for some time and I think you have inspired me to get it done. I think I'll suprise Joe with tickets for our anniversary next month... Wish we could go to Hurricane this weekend to see everyone, but we've got too many demands at home...
